How Can I Open PPSM Files?

The same file extension may be used by different file types and different programs, and sometimes it can be tough to figure out which program to use. When you need to open PPSM files, start by double-clicking it. If it doesn’t open, or you receive an error message, take the following steps to try to open it.

Step 1: Try Different Software Programs

If you can’t open PPSM files, you may not have the right program installed on your computer. You can start by installing some of the most common programs associated with PPSM files. The primary software associated with PPSM files is Power Point Microsoft Office Open XML Format Presentation Slide Show with Macros Enabled. You can download one of these programs from the developer’s website.

Step 2: Use the File Type as a Hint

If you know the type of file you’re working with, that might help you figure out how to open it. PPSM files are usually Data Files. Look for a program on your computer that opens this type of file, and see if it will open the PPSM file.
