How Can I Open SDP Files?

The same file extension may be used by different file types and different programs, and sometimes it can be tough to figure out which program to use. Step 1: Try Different Software Programs

If you can’t open SDP files, you may not have the right program installed on your computer. You can start by installing some of the most common programs associated with SDP files. A few of these associated software titles include OpenOffice.org Presentation, IBM Storyboard PIC Image, and StarOffice Picture File. You can download one of these programs from the developer’s website.

Step 2: Use the File Type as a Hint

If you know the type of file you’re working with, that might help you figure out how to open it. SDP files are usually Data Files. Look for a program on your computer that opens this type of file, and see if it will open the SDP file.

If you’re not sure of the file type, you can find it within the SDP file itself. Follow the steps below to find this information.

If you’re still having trouble opening your SDP file, a software developer may be able to help. If you know which software program should open your file, contact the developer who created that program.
