If You Don't Have Microsoft Windows NotePad, Sublime Text, or Systems Biology Markup Language source files Software Installed
In order to open your SBML file, you will have to download Microsoft Windows NotePad, Sublime Text, Systems Biology Markup Language source files, or another similar software package.
If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open SBML Files
If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open SBML files using Microsoft Windows NotePad, Sublime Text, Systems Biology Markup Language source files, or another program of your choice that uses SBML files.

If the SBML File is Corrupt
In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.
Open SBML File the Easy Way
If you don't want to download Microsoft Windows NotePad, Sublime Text, or Systems Biology Markup Language source files (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!
