If You Don't Have Infinity Game Engine AD&D Rule Set or BioWare Aurora Engine 2-Dimensional Array
In order to open your 2DA file, you will have to download Infinity Game Engine AD&D Rule Set, BioWare Aurora Engine 2-Dimensional Array, or another similar software package.
If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open 2DA Files
If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open 2DA files using Infinity Game Engine AD&D Rule Set, BioWare Aurora Engine 2-Dimensional Array, or another program of your choice that uses 2DA files.

If the 2DA File is Corrupt
In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.
Open 2DA File the Easy Way
If you don't want to download Infinity Game Engine AD&D Rule Set or BioWare Aurora Engine 2-Dimensional Array (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!
Even though some 2DA files must be opened in a program for which it was developed (binary format), you may still be able to open it in a universal file viewer such as File Magic. Download File Magic now from the Microsoft Store and open your 2DA file!
