If You Don't Have 3DPlus2 Graphic or Stereo CAD-3D Ver. 2.0 Objects Graphics Format
In order to open your 3D2 file, you will have to download 3DPlus2 Graphic, Stereo CAD-3D Ver. 2.0 Objects Graphics Format, or another similar software package.
If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open 3D2 Files
If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open 3D2 files using 3DPlus2 Graphic, Stereo CAD-3D Ver. 2.0 Objects Graphics Format, or another program of your choice that uses 3D2 files.

If the 3D2 File is Corrupt
In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.
Open 3D2 File the Easy Way
If you don't want to download 3DPlus2 Graphic or Stereo CAD-3D Ver. 2.0 Objects Graphics Format (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!
Even though some 3D2 files must be opened in a program for which it was developed (binary format), you may still be able to open it in a universal file viewer such as File Magic. Download File Magic now from the Microsoft Store and open your 3D2 file!
