If You Don't Have Rhino 3D Model File
In order to open your 3DX file, you will have to download Rhino 3D Model File or another similar software package.
If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open 3DX Files
If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open 3DX files using Rhino 3D Model File or another program of your choice that uses 3DX files.

If the 3DX File is Corrupt
In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.
Open 3DX File the Easy Way
If you don't want to download Rhino 3D Model File (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!
