If You Don't Have cramfs ROM Filesystem Package or Chessmaster Saved Game
In order to open your CMG file, you will have to download cramfs ROM Filesystem Package, Chessmaster Saved Game, or another similar software package.
If Your Computer is Not Configured to Open CMG Files
If you have the relevant software, but your computer still won't open the software, you will have to change the file associations on Windows or Mac. Depending on your operating system, you can ensure that your computer always open CMG files using cramfs ROM Filesystem Package, Chessmaster Saved Game, or another program of your choice that uses CMG files.

If the CMG File is Corrupt
In some instances, you may receive an error message stating that the file is corrupt. If you have tried all of the above, and it still doesn't work, download or request a new copy to see if that works.
Open CMG File the Easy Way
If you don't want to download cramfs ROM Filesystem Package or Chessmaster Saved Game (for whatever reason), and the other options also don't work... that's okay!
Even though some CMG files must be opened in a program for which it was developed (binary format), you may still be able to open it in a universal file viewer such as File Magic. Download File Magic now from the Microsoft Store and open your CMG file!
